Absolut Jams Jazz Talent Competition kicks off with a bang and leaves the judges and the crowd in amazement!

Atlanta - Absolut Jams Jazz Talent Competition opened on Monday, July 21, 2003, to an excited crowd of jazz fans. Ten to fifteen aspiring singers and musicians waited patiently for their time to shine in front of an audience filled with anticipation. “Hot Ice” host Ken Batie kept the crowd into the competition, by constantly reminding the crowd that $5,000 was at stake. His wit and humor brought smiles to the faces of many, as they grooved to the tunes of each contestant. The competition was solid and the talent amazed many, including the judges. Towards the end, one person emerged as the winner, after the judges spent nearly twenty minutes pondering their close decision. The Jazz competition continues next week, Monday, July 28, 2003.
