For Immediate Release:
Atlanta - Absolut Jams R&B Talent Competition opened on Monday, September 8, 2003, to an excited crowd of jazz fans. The kickoff featured Virgin Recording Artist Dwele. A large amount of aspiring singers and musicians waited patiently for their time to shine in front of an audience filled with anticipation, on a weekly basis. “Hot Ice” host Ken Batie kept the crowd into the competition, by constantly reminding the crowd that $5,000 was at stake. His wit and humor brought smiles to the faces of many, as they grooved to the tunes of each contestant. Overall, the competition was solid and the talent amazed many, including the judges. Towards the end, one person emerged as the winner.
